last stop: bangkok

The last leg of our trip had come up too quickly. We needed more time! However, we saved the largest city for last- and had our hands full of things to do. We needed to end our trip with a bang!

monkey, sea & monkeys, phu-ket

Thanks for hanging in there friends! I hope you enjoyed part I of our Thailand trip, I know I did! I'm pretty sure that was my most favorite ever! However, keep reading part II. I was totally surprised during this part of our trip and had the most memorable time on one adventure... (FYI, it's pronounced POO-ket)

chiang mai oh-mai

Last month, Chris and I went to one of my life top 3 bucket list places. It was definitely #travelgoals and not only a new country for me, but my first visit to a new continent- Asia! We flew from Helsinki (that was also a new country for me, does it count as a check if I was in the airport?) and landed in Bangkok. After a few hours' nap, we jumped on another plane and headed straight for our first destination, Chiang Mai, Thailand.

thanks-giving

It's so easy to get lost in the routine of daily life. Sometimes we get so caught up in a moment and worried, stressed, upset, over something so insignificant.

in love with slovenia

Since moving to Hungary, our friends have told us about the most romantic little weekend getaway at this lake in our neighbor country. After many positive reviews we finally took the time away and made the short trip. It was a perfect spot for a long weekend getaway.

water-falling into winter

Last year we traveled through Croatia and got a bit of a weather surprise when we arrived to Plitvice Lakes National Park. It had just turned November and it snowed so much unexpectedly, we couldn't get our car out of the parking spot!

more than the coast

Just about this time last year we went on a week long road trip to Croatia. Usually our immediate thought was of yachts and the coastline. However, we heard a whisper that there was so much more to Croatia, and decided to uncover all these secrets ourselves. WOW is all I can say. I am sure glad we did!

who is that girl

Since announcing this blog to the world I have gotten SO MUCH positive feedback! It is just amazing to receive support from friends all over the world. I've even reconnected with a few friends from High School! And it's been a while since HS even though it doesn't seem like it my, does time fly!

blown away & not from wind and rain

Yes, Copehnagen was definitely full of windy and rainy experiences. However, this weekend trip was full of fun and adventures that (sometimes literally) blew me away!

yassou to you pt. II

Early in the morning, we hopped a ferry to our last Greek island for this trip. This picturesque island with a blue and white topped caldera has been on my dream list for years. Santorini sunsets, we're coming for you!

the suisse life

We recently took our new-to-us DIY camper van on it's first road trip! After a 12 hour drive and additional few hours spent for McDonald's stops, we arrived at our sweet little campsite in Frutigen, Switzerland. Tucked behind a small town, alongside a swiftly flowing river, we were home for a week.

a day dream

Where to start with this part of the trip... Bruges was a simple romantic city. Caught between it's canals and retained medieval architecture, it was a lovely city to spend the day wandering.

yassou to you pt. I

Hello to you! From the truly picturesque Greek islands. After finally checking one of the top 3 destinations off my bucket list, I can say I understand why Greece is such a "must do." It's beautiful! The sunsets of Oia were just breathtaking... I may or may not have cried little happy tears that I was witnessing something that I have only before dreamed about.
